Community
As a family-owned business, we have a strong sense of community, and like to support our local communities in any way we can.
Our support might be through sponsorship or donation, but is often through working with community groups and organisations involved in a building project with limited funds.
We have worked on numerous projects where groups have come to us after winning grants, and we have worked through all the stages of the project with them to achieve a quality finish within an often limited budget.
One such project was Woodford Primary School, which had received funding to build a multi-purpose room.
School Principal, Jeff Gillies, writes:
“Woodford Primary School is very proud to be associated with South West Sheds and Homes. In 2008, we engaged South West Sheds and Homes in the building of our school’s multi-purpose room. With limited funds available, we were able to work through the varying stages of construction with cost in mind, but without affecting quality. Mick was very approachable at all times and maintained good contact himself with the job through the various stages. We have been very happy with the finished product and the overall service provided by South West Shed and Homes.”
